Daejang

Opened in September 2022 on rue Descartes, a step from rue Mouffetard, in a neighbourhood the house describes as a meeting point for tourists, residents and students. The menu is broad: grilled dumplings at €8, japchae at €11, tteokbokki at €12, dolsot bibimbap at €17, chicken in sweet chilli sauce at €13, and sharing plates for two — gamjatang at €36, dak-galbi at €32, gopchang bokkeum at €39. A summer menu adds mulnaengmyeon at €16. House desserts include bingsu and hotteok ice cream. Closed Mondays.
