Café & Dessert — Paris

A Korean café is not judged only on its coffee. Bingsu buried under soybean powder or fruit, soft pastries, tteok, drinks made from yuzu or roasted grain — sweetness sits at the centre, and the room is designed for staying. This part of the Korean scene arrived in Paris later than the restaurants did, and there are still fewer of them, which is exactly why they are worth gathering in one place. Use this page when you need somewhere to meet, somewhere to go after a meal, or a quiet table for an hour of work. The listings name each house's sweet specialities and show whether takeaway is possible. A note on method: only places with a genuine Korean identity are listed here, not general cafés that add a bingsu to the menu in summer.
