Bibimbap — Paris

Bibimbap means mixed rice, and the instruction is literal: seasoned vegetables arranged by colour, meat, an egg, a spoonful of gochujang, then you stir hard until the whole bowl is one thing. The dolsot version, served in a scorching stone bowl, adds a crust of toasted rice at the bottom that many people consider the best part. Balanced, adaptable and often available in a vegetarian form, it is among the most approachable Korean dishes for a first visit. This page gathers the Paris addresses that make a speciality of it. The chilli paste is served separately, which makes it easy to share with people who are cautious about heat. If you are here for a short lunch or a meal alone, cross with those filters.
