Mandoobar

Six kinds of mandoo dumpling and five Korean tartares: the menu comes down to two families. The mandoo — vegetable, pork-and-beef, kimchi, chicken, bulgogi, prawn — run from €11 to €17 for 6, 8 or 10 pieces; the tartares of beef, sea bream, mackerel or tuna, from €14 to €16. Chef Kim Kwang-Loc, born in Seoul and formerly of his own Taepyonso there, lists his suppliers down to the chilli powder from Chungcheong, and states that every dish is made in house.
